Rugby Tavern

The Rugby Tavern is a traditional English pub so named because it was built around 1850 on land donated by the founder of Rugby School.

Its central location, a short walk from the British Museum, London’s theatre district and the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras, makes the Rugby Tavern a lively, bustling pub used by office workers, Bloomsbury residents and tourists.

Visitors can enjoy good food and drink, try their hand at darts, or take part in poker, poetry and quiz nights.

The Rugby Tavern has a large horseshoe-shaped bar and a generously-proportioned function room. Up to 30 customers can eat outside on the pub pavement during warm weather.

Featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, the pub keeps a variety of traditional Kentish cask ales in excellent condition. There is also a choice of distinctive international lagers and a good selection of wines.
